About Arrow Valley Park

Situated in the heart of Redditch borough it is hard to believe you are in an urban environment when you are walking or cycling around the Arrow Valley lake.

Next to the flagship Countryside Centre there is an extensive playground area only completed in 2002. Slides, climbing nets, swings and frames feature in this multi-level, state of the art play area. It is a an adventure paradise for kids of all ages.

Downstairs from the café is Youth Afloat, who mission is to provide access to sailing activities to those children who otherwise would find it difficult or unaffordable. They have a full range of light sailing craft and many qualified instructors and helpers.

The park itself affords the opportunity to 'take the air' in a child friendly green environment with super views across the lake and a not too taxing walk around the circumference of the lake. Why not finish your walk at the Café and have a cup of coffee and cake or an ice cream ?
